Evercor Facility Management is thrilled to announce that owner and president, Patrick Kane, was named CEO of the Year at the 2019 Snow & Ice Symposium hosted by The Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA) on Thursday, June 27th, to a standing ovation.
SIMA is a North American trade association for snow & ice industry professionals. The ceremony is the industry’s premier awards program, and provides the opportunity to recognize and reward professionalism and success. The award recipient choice is based on several categories: company growth and profitability, professionalism and leadership, community involvement, SIMA involvement, and overall advancement of the industry.
“I’m only here today because my family and coworkers make it easy for me to be an effective CEO,” said Kane, “Their unconditional support, hard work, and dedication has allowed our company to grow into one of the largest self-performing facility maintenance providers in the Northeast. Without them I would be a one-man band and I am eternally grateful.”
Kane has been the president of Evercor since founding the company (as Evergreen Landscaping Services) in 1995. Under his leadership Evercor has celebrated many milestones including the construction of a stand-alone corporate headquarters in the Wyoming Valley, the expansion of business through multiple subsidiaries in various locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region, the recent welcoming of the 100th fleet vehicle, and (of course) the massive rebranding of Evercor Facility Management from Evergreen Companies, Inc.
“Pat and I have known each other all our lives,” said Adam Pendolphia, Evercor Vice President. “He has worked very hard to build this company and I’m so happy for him. He deserves this.”
Kane also has a passion for philanthropy and contributes to numerous causes, nonprofits, and other charitable organizations in the communities in which Evercor and its subsidiaries operate.
As the award recipient, Kane will also be featured in SIMA’s Snow Business magazine and serve as a consultant for selecting next year’s winner.
